Mrs Gill Gallagher, Principal, Grades 1 and 2 teacher.

Mrs Gallagher’s over 30 years in teaching ensures that our younger children are given a strong base on which to build their future learning, in a nurturing and structured environment. Greyton House is blessed to have such a wise person at the helm: a principal who magically seems to balance firmness with compassion, setting the unique tone of our school.

Mrs Melanie Davies, Grade 00 – Grade R teacher

Our little ones enjoy a happy, interactive environment where they are prepared for Grade 1 in a safe, structured and caring way all the time learning the social skills they will need in the coming years

Mrs Jeannie Theron, Grades 3 and 4 teacher.

Life is never dull in “Mrs T’s” class. Along with her deep understanding of children, Mrs T ensures that learning is dynamic and exciting. Many important social skills are also emphasized in this class.

Mrs Sandy Wiesner, Grades 5 & 6 teacher and Afrikaans     (Grades 5 – 8).

Everyone ought to pass through Mrs Wiesner’s hands at some point in their lives! Her lessons are organised, well prepared and interesting, giving our Grades 5 and 6 pupils a strong academic grounding and the skills they need to approach the higher grades with confidence. Her firm but kind approach ensures a secure and happy group of children.

Mr Erith Harris, Grades 7 & 8 teacher and English (Grades 5 – 8).

Pupils at Greyton House realise within a few minutes of being in Mr Harris’s class that this man is a top quality teacher and person, with a wealth of experience in many subjects. His years as headmaster of one of the best schools in Zimbabwe are benefiting our senior pupils hugely and he expects high standards of work and encourages them to give their best and develop their thinking skills and own initiative.

Mrs Edwina Faro, assistant teacher.

Always smiling, Mrs Faro gives valued support to the Greyton House team. She patiently teaches the little ones, helps the bigger pupils with Afrikaans or Maths and generally helps to keep the Greyton House ship afloat.

Mr Goulding

Pupils have a deep respect for Mr Goulding, a true scientist, mathematician and a man who helps the pupils to understand the importance of the ecological balance of fauna and flora.

Hilary

Our Bursar, part of the hub of Greyton House, makes the wheels turn smoothly. Hilary ensures the efficient running of the school finances.

This backbone of full-time staff is supported and assisted by part-time teachers who help with computer literacy, class music, academic support, drama and enrichment subjects, as well as a supportive group of parents and village volunteers who help with clubs, camps, fundraising and the many activities that make up the tapestry of Greyton House.
